Ryobi's main office and showrooms were undergoing renovations and our experts were called in to conduct a detailed analysis on the existing lighting. Our designers proposed a new lighting system, incorporating strategically placed sensors as well as an array of different LED technologies. On top of this, certain luminaires were relocated, to eliminate inconsistencies in light levels. The showroom lighting was completely re-designed, with multiple luminaire locations arranged in a manner that would best support the performance characteristics of LED panel lighting. The entire upgrade resulted in a 72% increase in light levels, while reducing the overall energy consumption by 69%. Furthermore, the upgrade was eligible for the Tier 2 rebate - 80%, which means that 80% of the upgrade cost was covered by rebates through the VEET scheme.
