Victorian Power Savers conducted an energy and lighting audit at the main warehouse for Milwaukee Tool Australia. The aim was to identify a workable solution that would provide an increase in productivity to the warehouse staff as well as increase energy efficiency. The results of the lighting audit identified that the warehouse would see significant benefits with the utilisation of intelligent smart sensors combined with a high output, narrow beam LED highbay. The installation was quickly scheduled and successfully completed by our in house electricians. The results indicated that the lighting levels had increased by 68% while reducing the overall energy consumption of the lighting system by 70%. This upgrade was eligible for a Tier 1 - 100% rebate, meaning that the entire upgrade was completely free to Milwaukee Tool Australia.
